This presentation will cover identifying system performance issues within the PeopleSoft applications, as well as provide suggestions for tuning. One-third of the class will focus on tuning the application stack (e.g. Web and App server), where the remaining two-thirds of the class will cover identifying slow running SQL, and how this can be tuned to run more efficiently by re-coding, adding indexes, or even making database level changes.

There have been a number of enhancements in PeopleTools as of late that really change how you provision, and manage PeopleSoft environments - but one thing is constant: care must be taken to ensure you remain in a certified configuration to avoid costly delays as a go live date nears.
