In this presentation, I will introduce concepts behind SCAN addresses, SCAN listeners, VIP addresses, VIP listeners, HAIP etc. I will also talk about how to integrate all these new features to setup the RAC environment optimally. It is important to understand the concepts behind these RAC features to effectively implement for high availability.
