Are JDE customers planning to upgrade to EnterpriseOne Tools 9.2?

77 percent of respondents on EnterpriseOne Tools release 9.1 or older are planning an upgrade to 9.2. Consequently, 23 percent said they have no plans to upgrade.  Therefore we observed a continued trend of companies upgrading or planning to upgrade JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to 9.2 this year.

Are EnterpriseOne customers using Orchestrator?

We asked respondents on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne whether they were using JD Edwards Orchestrator.  Most respondents said they were not (76 percent), while 19 percent said they were unsure.

Are JDE customers running or considering running
JD Edwards in the Cloud?

69 percent of respondents running JD Edwards EnterpriseOne said they were not thinking about running JD Edwards on the cloud. This figure declined by three percentage points from 2017.

Furthermore, respondents who are not considering EnterpriseOne on the cloud cited cost, control, security concerns, and transitioning to cloud applications as the main reasons. 21 percent said they are considering running JD Edwards in the cloud. This figure declined seven percentage points from 2017, whereas 10 percent said they are already running JD Edwards in the cloud, up 10 percentage points from 2017.  Companies that considered running JD Edwards in the cloud in 2017 are executing the transition this year.

Where are customers running Oracle JD Edwards in the Cloud?

Of the respondents running EnterpriseOne on the cloud, 37 percent are doing so on Oracle Public Cloud. 27 percent use Amazon Web Services, while 24 percent use a third-party hosting provider. The remaining 12 percent are running EnterpriseOne on Microsoft Azure or another unlisted cloud provider.
