At COLLABORATE 18, Caesars Entertainment discussed how they integrated their crucial business function of Oracle Cloud Recruitment (Taleo) with Oracle HCM Cloud. Below are tips and tricks from that presentation:
- You need a management hierarchy for reporting. If that requires hiring or promoting people, you need to do that BEFORE you start the transformation.
- When you’re deciding which implementation plan is best for your business, consider readiness and availability. Think about which organization within your company is better prepared to support a cloud implementation.
- You want to spend time understanding four key terms – legal entities, divisions, ledgers, and business units – and then relate them to your own company.
- If you’re doing a phased approach, start hosting educational workshops for both HCM and Financials during the first phase.
- Financials and HCM can have separate project teams with separate client/implementation resources. You want to bring ERP and HCM resources together, though, for key decisions and frequent touch points.
