Quest Community,
Hello and welcome to the new Quest website! We are excited for you to explore some of the new features and functionality we have implemented based on our usability study.
Improvements to Overall Usability
We want users in our community to get necessary information as quickly as possible. Easier navigation is a large driver of that experience, so we have striven to make site exploration and navigation much more intuitive. Also, our updated messaging and subscription preferences give users the ability to quickly and easily manage the communications they are receiving from Quest and the community.
Dashboard
Our new Dashboard is designed to be command center for your Quest website experience. From this page, you can see all your important information in one place, including groups you have joined, yourcommunity connections, recent site messages and forum activity. You can also update your profile information and your messaging preferences. Finally, we have added the ability to view content you bookmarked throughout the site for quick reference later.
Resource Library
Content can now be found quicker and easier thanks to the new search and filter functionality in our Content Library. You can now filter your choices by product, module, industry, hot topic and source, allowing you to find more specific and relevant content faster.
Groups
The core of our online networking has improved as well. We have implemented a more intuitive user interface for the individual group pages, making it easier not just to get plugged in to the networks that will get you answers, but to provide helpful responses to others who are in need of solutions themselves.
Discussion Forums
While our discussion forums have become easier to navigate and utilize with the redesign, we have also added particular functionality to allow members of our community to more actively engage in and shape the discussions being had. Users can now select the “best” answer to questions they have posted, giving those with similar pain points quicker access to effective solutions. Similarly, anyone in the community can now vote for or reply to the questions or threads themselves, giving the discussions more prominence as a useful resource. Users also have the option of replying to a post via email notification, eliminating several steps necessary in the past.
While we have made many more improvements to the site—and we are excited to share those with you—your positive experience and success are still our main objectives. Please let us know if there is something that would better improve your time on our site by providing your feedback here [link to website feedback form]. We look forward to your comments. Enjoy the new site!
Welcome!
