PeopleSoft At COLLABORATE 18: Get To Know Your Presenters

Christina Yue, Customer Learning Manager |

One of my favorite aspects of our conferences is the quality of education. As I mentioned in my blog last week, “PeopleSoft At COLLABORATE 18: A Sneak Peek At This Year’s Conference”, this is going to be the best year for us in terms of education offerings. Much of this is due to the caliber of presenters at COLLABORATE this year.

A Powerful PeopleSoft Presence

Of the 140 PeopleSoft sessions at COLLABORATE this year, 40 come from the PeopleSoft Strategy and Development team, who will provide insight on new innovations and releases within the product. The Oracle team will kick off the week with a product line update session from Paco Aubrejuan, Senior Vice President of PeopleSoft Development. This is always a can’t-miss session for any PeopleSoft user and I always find it a great opportunity to see how much Oracle is continuing to invest in PeopleSoft.

Immediately following Paco’s product line update will be sessions covering each of the pillar roadmaps. These sessions are key to understanding the strategic direction of each pillar’s product development. They are also a great opportunity to see the latest features and functionality. These sessions are always full of information to get you prepped for the rest of the week.

Following those roadmap presentations, two dozen other PeopleSoft Strategists and their teams will present sessions throughout the week on numerous topics like Fluid User Interface, Selective Adoption, Analytics, Cash and Treasury, Procurement, PeopleSoft in the Cloud, Asset Lifecycle Management and so much more. If those sessions don’t address all your questions, make sure you join us on April 25, 2018 when the Strategy and Development teams will take the stage for several Q&A panels. The day ends with Rebekah Jackson, Vice President of PeopleSoft Strategy and Product Management and Marc Weintraub, Vice President of Product Strategy answering the “tough questions” in their own session. I highly recommend that you attend one of these sessions to get your questions answered directly from the Oracle PeopleSoft team.

Sessions for Customers by Customers

While I love the presence of the PeopleSoft Strategy and Development team at COLLABORATE, we know that one of the biggest things that sets us apart from other conferences is the quality of customers presenting. We are a conference that covers all the PeopleSoft pillars while crossing all industries, which allows a lot of knowledge sharing. Hearing directly from other users about their experience is what truly inspires customers, they have the real stories and real solutions for the products. Some of our customers presenting include:

  • AARP
  • Adventist Health
  • Alameda County
  • Capella University
  • City of Henderson
  • Domino’s Pizza Inc
  • Houston Methodist
  • KAR Auction Services, Inc.
  • NYU Langone Hospital
  • Sandia National Laboratories
  • SpartanNash
  • Tower International
  • University of Colorado
  • Wells Fargo
  • Westfield Group
  • Westrock
  • Whitney Bank

With so much content at your fingertips, attending the right sessions is as important as ever. Take time to customize your conference agenda around the topics or pillars you want to learn more about. Take a look at all the PeopleSoft education available on the PeopleSoft at COLLABORATE page and build your agenda with any of the sessions you see listed.
