It’s hard to believe we are almost a month into the new year. Where did it go? I have said it before that time flies when you’re having fun and I think this is another month that I have had a little too much fun. Our community has continued to grow and we have seen an increase in webinar attendance (the first one of the year had 175!), SIG meeting activity and a lot more planning and execution of our content strategy for the year. We plan to bring some new opportunities to the community this year, like the one-day virtual preview of COLLABORATE education happening next week. On top of the digital offerings we have been planning for the PeopleSoft community, we have been working hard to finalize all aspects our COLLABORATE conference.
We know that going to conferences can be a little daunting so I will spend some time in the next few posts highlighting what excites me about COLLABORATE and my recommendations for the week based off conversations I’ve had with customers. I’ll start with a brief introduction of the conference for those who aren’t as familiar with it.
What is COLLABORATE?
COLLABORATE (April 22-26, 2018) is the largest user-led Oracle conference in North America, bringing together customers and partners that are using Oracle software, as well as key Oracle representatives. Quest specifically focuses on Oracle Cloud, JD Edwards and PeopleSoft content and hosts over 450 sessions during the week. COLLABORATE is a place where your entire team can come together and learn about ways to get the most out of your product as well as the development plans Oracle has in store.
This is my sixth COLLABORATE and I am most excited about this one. We have spent a lot of time listening to customer feedback and have worked hard to develop what we believe will be an amazing experience for anyone who attends.
