The Critical Patch Update for January 2019 was just released on January 15, 2019. Oracle strongly recommends applying the patches as soon as possible. The Critical Patch Update advisory provides relevant information about what products are affected, pointers for obtaining patches, a summary of security vulnerabilities for each product suite, and links to other important documents. The January 2019 Critical Patch Update contains 284 new security fixes across the product families listed in the advisory.
Supported products that are not listed in the “Affected Products and Components” section of the advisory do not require new patches to be applied. Each advisory describes only the security fixes added since the previous Critical Patch Update advisory. It would be smart to look at Critical Patch Update advisories for information regarding earlier published security fixes if you are unsure.
