Enterprise One
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne’s new notification enhancements allow customers to keep in touch with JD Edwards through live updates. The customer gains access to data so they can make critical decisions as needed when issues or changes arise. Text message notifications are featured within this update, as are full orchestrations and Watchlist information changes.
When the system spots a change that customers need to be aware of, the client receives a notification via the method they have chosen. The client can receive that message within the JD Edwards web client, in the JD Edwards Work Center or through email/text message.
Saved by the bell
Look for a bell icon to indicate the latest notifications. A new “My Notifications” page will offer several new capabilities to clients: subscribing to notifications, providing inputs, choosing preferred delivery methods and controlling notification delivery settings.
Orchestration enhancements
As Oracle continues to grow, Digital Transformation takes off, notably with recent enhancements to Orchestrator. We’ll discuss a few of the most significant updates to Orchestrator below to see which functionalities fit best into your growth agenda.
Here are a few enhancements you’ll enjoy:
- Orchestrations can now operate from data sets, not just select pieces of data.
- New Watchlist service requests allow orchestrations to borrow from non-JD Edwards data, essentially allowing outside data to integrate into orchestrations.
- As we discussed above, notifications have become a focus area, which keeps users informed and catalyzes further orchestrations.
- Orchestrations occur more frequently and automatically. They now have increased capabilities such as tracking inventory and credit limits.
