As most JD Edwards and PeopleSoft customers know, Oracle made some changes to their sales of on-premise ERP licenses and management of on-premise customer accounts. This had a direct impact on the servicing of all Oracle on-premise ERP customers, leaving many customers and partners unsure of where to turn.
Quest has some guidance for customers facing these obstacles. The Oracle Digital team helps on-premise ERP customers maintain and continue investing in their on-premise Oracle ecosystems. They help customers with everything from adding licenses to investing in the newest JD Edwards or PeopleSoft release.
Quest began building a relationship with Oracle Digital (formerly”Oracle Direct”) early in 2016, when Oracle Digital focused on supporting on-premise customers in a different way. This relationship has already grown the Quest community, bringing in users that didn’t know how Quest amplifies the ROI of ERP investments. Through this connection, multiple users have found the right Quest resources to better leverage their on-premise environment.
After the June 2016 shift, we’ve established regular calls with this team to drive support for the on-premise community. You’ll likely see Oracle Digital at Quest conferences, helping the community know they exist to serve customers.
