Staying on Top of New NSC Reporting Demands

As the demand for accurate program-level data increases with National Student Clearinghouse reporting, business process changes have saved Northwestern University from hours of manual updates to students’ records.

This presentation will explore using the delivered Graduates Only file as a solution to the limited power of the Degree Verify file to change students’ status to “Graduated.” Queries that can help one avoid missing graduates and minimize error clean-up will be shared. Ideas for basic customizations, such as SQR tweaks and applications engines will also be illustrated.
