Susan G. Komen Foundation is a non-profit organization operating under a federated business model where the Headquarters corporation’s Accounting Department creates all billing invoices and accounts payable vouchers between it and its eighty-five semi-autonomous Affiliate corporations. Implementing Interunit Billing automates corresponding accounts payable vouchers and thereby eliminates manual voucher entry and errors, and also ensures there are no corresponding missing vouchers.
