PeopleSoft Alerts, within the Events and Notifications Framework, uses an Application Engine program to send users customizable notifications when the criteria of a predefined query is met. Alerts can be used to monitor PeopleSoft processes or changes to data and send automated notifications via email, worklist, or XML messages. In this presentation, we will review the setup configuration, technical overview, and lessons learned when implementing the PeopleSoft Alert Framework in FSCM 9.2.
